Modern Soul
Traditional Heart

Artistically expressive,
Aesthetically expansive

To transform a compact apartment into a space that feels artistically expressive, aesthetically expansive, and emotionally connected without losing its cultural essence. The goal was to reflect each family member’s identity through design, function, and fine detail.

The entrance sets the tone and here it welcomes not just guests, but emotions, tradition, and timeless art.

We created a hand-painted, raw sketch-style outline on the walls, giving the space a free-flowing, artistic energy, almost like a canvas in progress. The brush-stroke finish adds depth and character without overwhelming the eye.

The main door is crafted in a traditional ‘Wada’ style, adorned with brass motifs, bringing a sense of grandeur and nostalgia right at the threshold. It’s a door that doesn’t just open space; it opens memories and legacy.

To complete the experience, a thoughtfully placed Tulsi Vrindavan offers a divine, sacred touch, giving the entrance a heartfelt, cultural presence that instantly feels like homecoming.

Design Rooted in Culture, Crafted with Purpose

A Home of Whitened
Grace & Artistic Fusion

In the living hall, an Indian-style floating bench seating was introduced, with Takiya (bolsters) and brass artefacts, adding a fusion of traditional form and modern art patterns, enhanced by mirrors and lighting to create reflections and rhythm

Shahabad stone flooring was used throughout for its cool finish, regional nostalgia, and tactile honesty.

Civil Modifications were made to enhance openness and flow, making the space feel larger and better connected.

Artistry in Living Spaces

Art Installations by Renowned Artists were carefully placed throughout the home to create visual interest, supported by tribal art mirrors some designed as key holders and finished with rustic white texture to create a harmonious art composition.

Kitchen, Dining & Practical Beauty

A mirror panel on the ceiling in the passage creates vertical expansion and draws light into a narrow area — amplifying the space without altering structure.

Art in Every Corner

A serene white base blends with vibrant accents and natural polished wood, creating a space that feels open, warm, and artistic. It’s a fusion of modern design with cultural soul.

Thoughts, Ideas & Inspirations

The Murphy beds in both rooms were custom-designed — one with ‘AAI’ (Mother) calligraphy and the other with ‘Pranav’ (grandson), embedding generational bonds into the furniture itself.

Breathes Detail and Depth

This calligraphy-themed room turns words into art. Hand-lettered walls and meaningful scripts bring emotion, culture, and character to the space — making it more than just a room, but a reflection of personal stories.

Tradition Reimagined with Modern Elegance

In a deeply personal gesture, we designed wardrobes using the mother’s saree as fabric paneling, symbolizing heritage, emotion, and storytelling.

Curtains were designed in fabric featuring traditional Pichwai art, tying everyday utility with cultural richness.

Balcony, Blended with the Master Bedroom

The balcony was converted into an extended bedroom zone with raw wooden seating, blending the outside-in and inside-out experience, making nature and living flow as one.

Where Design Meets Meaning

The kitchen backsplash features a collage of different textured tiles, forming an artistic patchwork that adds character to the functional zone.

Tradition in Every Stitch

Inspired by the timeless charm of Godhadi (hand-stitched quilts), this unique chair brings tradition and creativity together. Crafted using leather panels stitched in classic Godhadi patchwork style, it’s where heritage meets contemporary elegance.

“Our home is now a canvas of emotion, a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The clever use of white, vibrant accents, and thoughtful design has made our small space feel open, alive, and deeply personal. It’s more than a house — it’s our story.”
